Were We Played?

First things first. I was supposed to stay with my uncle and cousins in two weeks time but then, something came up, and that made me take off with my mother. I consider myself lucky that time because she didn't left early as planned.

8:24 PM - The bus we're in departed for travel to Davao. Though exhausted, my eyes won't let me sleep, and so, I kept myself occupied by watching the movie played, Who Am I starring Jackie Chan.

10:12 PM - Minutes after the movie ended, the bus stopped. The driver and conductor were talking, and as from what I heard, the pump belt was broken. I think that's a bad thing despite the fact I have no idea what that actually means. Passengers from the back started going down for peeing. At first, I don't mind them going back and forth but what caught mine and my mother's attention is the way they walk. They were all striding at the left aisle of the bus, as if they were falling to that side, keeping their balance. I keep myself from laughing by biting my lower lip, and honestly, it hurts a lot. They look like astronauts.

11:30 PM - We're waiting for more than an hour; icy breeze embracing us as we stand outside. The conductor told us earlier that a 'rescue' bus from Valencia will come and get us. Five buses had passed our way yet none was our rescue. Some passengers who were outside, including us, kept on telling jokes about the rescue. Gikan pa guro Japan, surplus. Diri na lang daw tah.

11:45 PM - The 'rescue' bus finally came, ready to take action. But as if we were being played, it got stuck in the mud. Forcing it's way out, it only went deeper. Now, the supposed rescuer will be rescued. Changing plans, the pump belt from the rescue bus was transferred to our original vehicle, even the battery. Some were taking pictures: Pang-facebook daw.

1:20 PM - Successfully, our journey continued; we're again back on track.

And that's how amazing our travel was. Too bad I don't have any camera and my cellphone was dead that time. I could have taken some photos, too.
